Children are vital members of our Sunday services! We love to have the children involved in our family worship from week to week and actively look for ways to include and engage them. We believe that parents are the primary shepherds of their children and so our program is geared to aid families as they seek to raise their children in the gospel.
During the Sunday sermon, we set aside a time for Primary School aged children to dive deeper into the story of the Bible through Christ-centred instruction and meaningful activities. It is a relaxed and informal time during which children sing, draw and learn more about the Creator and Saviour of the Universe. The children also learn compassion and justice through raising money to support a sponsor child and regular visits to a local nursing home to bless the residents.
All of the classes are based on the Bible, and often follow similar concepts as the main sermon so that families can have more robust and fruitful discussion after services. It’s an environment where your children will feel totally supported and will be encouraged to ask even the toughest of questions they might have.
